Mettakin - Under The Canopy E.P from Bass Star records brings forth a special creation of blends from various tastes of musical experimentation within the realms of bass music and beyond downtempo with a meld of glitch hop and trip hop breaks. Take a sip and lay back under the canopy with this six song sound journey. I am an Electronic, Psychedelic and Roots Music Artist. For 6-8 years I have released, sold and produced my own and other artists music. Having released several digital singles and been featured on and also made my own compilation albums has enabled me to turn my main interest and passion into a living and start a career. I use a blend of heavy bass sounds, strange and exotic soundscapes, a wide range of experimental mashed grooves from Dub/down-tempo to Drum & Bass and everything in between to create a unique and raw style. When it comes to my music I am prolific, producing at least three tracks a week, with a release schedule planned for the next two years of two EP's and one LP. Working in event Performance and event organization is also very important to me and I have been involved in preparing and performing live audio mixes and co-organizing events for sound systems and labels in Norwich since 2008 such as Nobody Beat The Drum, Nebula Sounds, I-stack Sounds, Nomadic Noize Collective and Stacked Promotions.
